About the role:
As a Support Worker, your role is to create a safe, warm, and caring environment. You will work as part of a team to provide support to adults with disabilities, complex needs, and mental health disorders, helping them live fulfilling and independent lives.
Your duties will include:
* Working with a team to provide a safe, warm, and stable environment for service users.
* Managing challenging behaviours effectively and compassionately.
* Providing personal care as required.
* Promoting daily living skills such as cooking, shopping, and cleaning.
* Supporting social integration, self-reliance, and confidence.
* Assisting with individualised care plans.
* Keeping documentation and records up to date in line with organisational and CQC regulations.
* Staying knowledgeable with relevant legislation and policies.
This is a shift-based role that requires working weekends and may include sleep-in duties.
About you:
We are looking for reliable, energetic, and empathetic individuals with strong communication skills. You will be able to work effectively as part of a team and thrive on supporting service users to enjoy life.
Key requirements:
* Experience working with challenging behaviours.
* Willingness to provide personal care.
* Computer literate.
* Willingness to work long shifts, including weekends and potential sleep-ins.
* Desirable: Minimum of 6 months to a year of relevant experience in the UK care sector.
* Desirable: A full UK driving license.
