About you and the role: The Senior Technical Business Analyst (TBA) will play a pivotal role in supporting the Innovation & AI team by ensuring high-quality delivery of AI and digital transformation initiatives. This role is designed to reduce the operational burden on the Practice Lead by assuming ownership of business analysis, delivery coordination, and post-launch support processes. The ideal candidate will bring a hybrid skill set combining business analysis, agile delivery, stakeholder management, and light technical proficiency (esp. in data-centric projects). What you will be doing: Business Analysis • Elicit and document business and functional requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process mapping. • Translate high-level business needs into clearly defined Product Backlog Items (PBIs) with acceptance criteria. • Define current and future state process flows. Agile Delivery & Backlog Management • Support the management and refinement of the product backlog in collaboration with the Innovation Practice Lead and Product Owners. • Own and manage the creation, documentation, and refinement of Use Cases within the backlog. • Chair and facilitate daily standup meetings to support Kanban delivery flow and coordinate task progression. • Track delivery milestones, flag risks, and support the resolution of delivery blockers using Azure DevOps. Testing & Deployment Support • Coordinate and execute UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with business stakeholders. • Collaborate with QA to define test plans and scripts. • Liaise with DevOps and Change teams for scheduling and verifying deployments. Change Management & Support • Track Change Requests (CRs) and ensure proper documentation and prioritization. • Coordinate business sign-offs and post-implementation validations. • Support Level 2 and Level 3 support teams in triaging production issues impacting business workflows. What you will bring: Experience & Qualifications • 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or Delivery Analyst role. • Experience in the insurance, reinsurance, or financial services sector preferred. • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related discipline. MBA or relevant certifications (CBAP, CSPO, Agile BA) a plus. Must-Haves: Knowledge and experience in process and workflow automation analysis. Proven experience in business analysis and delivery for technology projects, ideally in AI, data, or innovation domains. Experience in generating and coaching the articulation of impact benefits. Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery practices. Experience using Azure DevOps for backlog and work item tracking. Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), Power BI, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Teams. Excellent communication skills with ability to translate between technical and business teams. Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset in managing cross-functional initiatives. Nice-to-Haves: Prompt engineering experience with large language models (LLMs). Familiarity with AI/ML solution development lifecycle. Knowledge of data privacy, model governance, or change control in financial services. Experience in post-MVP scaling or productionizing innovation pilots.
