We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team in Swindon. This is a full-time, permanent role with a competitive salary and a fantastic benefits package. What is the role all about? As our Business Development Manager, you’ll be on the front lines out on the road generating and securing profitable sales for our commercial waste and recycling collection services, developing and maintaining a strong pipeline of sales prospects for conversion into gains. What you will be doing: As our Business Development Manager, you will: Research and identify potential customers to promote our waste collection services to, working closely with the Commercial team to gain maximum advantage in the market for the full range of services we offer. Liaise with senior management regarding opportunities to develop new products, services and markets, staying aware of all forthcoming projects and contracts requiring waste collection services in your area. Prepare weekly sales reports, attend weekly/monthly sales meetings arranged by the Sales Manager and assist other field sales personnel when required to achieve new business gains. What we are looking for: Essential: Previous experience in a similar role. Proven track record of hitting targets and achieving KPI’s. Well organised with exceptional attention to detail.
