The Role
We are seeking a Process Engineer to join our Daresbury office as part of our process engineering team. This role is well suited to a graduate or developing engineer looking to build hands‑on experience across a wide range of UK‑based design engineering projects within a high‑performing consultancy environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Produce process calculations, data sheets and equipment specifications
* Develop PFDs, P&IDs and cause & effect diagrams
* Support the preparation of process philosophies, reports and schedules
* Assist with plant troubleshooting and site‑based investigations
* Liaise with vendors and suppliers to assist with technical queries
* Support HAZOP/HAZID preparation and participation
Experience & Qualifications
* Degree in Chemical Engineering
* Strong technical foundation and willingness to develop professionally
* Familiarity with process design tools and industry regulations
* Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to learning
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Passion for delivering safe, fit‑for‑purpose, accurate design, completed to cost and programme
* Exposure to work in a multi‑discipline team
* Demonstrable experience working on site at a process plant and or manufacturing plant
