Description UE04: £26,093.00 - £28,778.00 Per Annum. CSG / Finance / Procurement. Full Time - 35 Hours Per Week. Fixed Term Contract - Temporary. The Opportunity: We are seeking a reliable individual, with honest work ethic to join the Stores Team to deliver a high class, customer focused stores service. Common tasks will for the role will be, receiving goods on our ERP systems, locating goods in relevant stores location, picking orders, supporting the delivery of the item(s) to customers and assisting with courier parcels. You will be expected to provide excellent customer service to users of the stores including students, staff, academic and research community, whilst using relevant University systems and processes. You will have a good knowledge of Health and safety procedures and adhere to them in your day-to-day role. The successful candidate will report to a Stores Leader, and will be part of a stores community across the University, consisting of over 20 members of staff. As part of a team, the successful applicant must be flexible and able to work at all of the stores locations on as required. Your skills and attributes for success: Ability to follow procedures and policies. Good interpersonal and customer service skills. Good written, IT, numeracy and oral communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to assess, apply initiative and know when to escalate issues to senior colleagues if unable to resolve day-to-day problems which may arise.
