We're looking for a finance assistant to join our small team and play a key role in supporting the Finance Director. You will be confident and polite on the phone, have an eye for detail, take ownership of tasks and once trained work with minimal supervision.
Role Description
Your tasks will consist of (but not limited to),
• Managing email inboxes and dealing with queries
• Processing purchase invoices and checking off supplier statements
• Posting sales invoices
• Cashbook postings and reconciliation of multicurrency bank accounts
• Creating new customers and vendor accounts following company procedures
• Credit control and customer disputes
• Admin for staff holidays
• Dealing with incoming post
• Creating payment schedules, weekly BACS run and sending remittances
• Updating cashflow forecast
• Cash and credit card expenses
• PVA statements and proof of export paperwork
• Invoice uploads onto various platforms
Requirements
• Experience in a similar finance role
• A keen eye for detail
• To be proficient in using Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Impeccable organisational skills, with the ability to multitask
• Must be able to travel to Long Crendon in Buckinghamshire
• Excellent time keeping
Desirable
• Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central would be an advantage
