Equifax UK, a leading credit bureau, is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for winning prospective accounts in currently served as well as new markets, promoting and selling Equifax solutions and products, and driving revenue growth.
What You’ll Do
* Promote and sell Equifax solutions to new, prospective clients across currently served verticals and new markets.
* Prospect, pursue and close deals being able to articulate the complexity of Equifax offerings to prospective clients.
* Engage proactively with clients on a consultative basis to learn their business, understand their challenges, and anticipate their needs.
* Prepare proposals and present solutions to prospective clients, and support in creating and developing Equifax solutions.
* Effectively and relentlessly pursue and close new business opportunities by networking with key decision-makers across all client departments.
* Utilize in-depth knowledge of data usage to solve operational business problems.
* Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients to add significant value and create solutions that demonstrate a clear return on investment and meet the changing needs of the client and market.
What Experience You Need
* Experience working for a Credit Bureau or Industry Reseller.
* Previous field sales and/or business development experience.
* Proven success in negotiating and closing complex deals with long lead-times.
* Ability to sell deals with a potential revenue of over £100k.
* Demonstrable over-performance sales track record.
* Experience in managing pricing negotiations.
* Knowledge of Consumer, Commercial, and Marketing data (desirable).
* Experience in presenting to small and large groups of clients and key decision-makers.
