Job Overview
Southern Water isseekinga confident and organised Capital Projects Customer Assistant to support the planning,coordinationand delivery of strategic customer engagement activities across our investment programme. This role is central to building strong relationships with our communities,protectingand enhancing our reputation, and ensuring customers and stakeholders are kept informed through clear,honestand targeted communications.
You will work closely with delivery partners,stakeholdersand internal teams to ensure our projects are communicated effectively, complaints are reduced, and communities feel supported and engaged. This is a varied role with opportunities to grow, shadow projects, and eventually step up to lead initiatives of your own.
OverallPurpose of the Role
- Support the planning and delivery of communications activities across the Southern Water region, based on Customer Impact Assessments and Communications Plans.
- Lead on team administrative tasks, reporting and event organisation.
-Identifyopportunities for continuous improvement in how we engage with customers and communities.
- Act as a key liaison between Southern Water, deliverypartnersand local communities.

About You

Knowledge and Experience
- Background in customer management and communications (marketing or education experience ideal).
- Strong understanding of communication channels, campaignmanagementand emerging techniques.
- Experience in a larger organisationis a bonus.

Package
This role will be full time Monday to Friday with a hybrid approach between our Durringtonor Falmeroffice and working from home, with occasional travel tositeswhenrequired.We are offering a salary of up to £32,500per annum as well as other benefits including:
