have an exciting opportunity within our Leicestershire & Rutland Sexual Health Hub for an experienced and enthusiastic administrator to join our friendly and welcoming team!As part of your role as an administrator, you will assist with the provision of the Sexual Health Hub and contribute to the effective running of the clinics through the delivery of administrative tasks.In the role you will directlysupportthe service by maintaining administrative systems and procedures including reception duties, back-officesupportincluding minute taking, manage incoming calls from to the 'Single Point of Access' (SPA) and action as required and through direct patient contact.You will be proficient in the use of computerised systems for booking and tracking all types of patient appointments and patient electronic records, ensuring this function is co-ordinated and updated accurately and in a timely manner and will work in conjunction with the clinical, non-clinical and managerial teams to ensure appointment capacity is utilised and the timeliness of patient appointments is monitored.This is an 18.5 hour role, flexibility is required for this role to cover the clinic's opening times over weekends and evenings, including 1 Saturday.This role may close earlier due to receiving a high number of applicants.Main ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities will include:Reception desk duties including greeting and registering patients, booking appointments and handling general enquires from patients, other healthcare professionals and the public where appropriateUse the Lilie patient management system to book, register and track patients through the serviceTo ensure telephone enquiries from the SPA are dealt with in a polite and courteous mannerTo work in line with HCRG Care Group's organisational values and behaviours framework, in addition to maintaining our local and regional guidelinesMaintain a safe environment for patients, staff and visitorsTo participate in service developments for the administrative team and support clinical teams where requiredTo support the Administration Team Lead in the day-to-day operational functions of the Sexual Health Hub and undertake any office duties to ensure the efficiency of the administrative service is maintained at all timesA full list of responsibilities can be found in the attached job description.The Ideal CandidateThe Ideal Candidate will have / will be:Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and EnglishAble to work collaboratively with others and form good working relationshipsMature and professional approach to Sexual Health issues when dealing with patientsAble to organise and prioritise own workloadAble to communicate effectively and in an appropriate manner with individuals and groups at all levelsAbility to multitaskOpen and honestDemonstrate a sound knowledge of administration/reception rolesExperience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary teamFull UK driving licence and access to a carYou will also need to beconfidentusing IT systems and be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel.Other Requirement:Must be flexible in regard to evenings and weekends in accordance with the needs of the service including clinic outreach and spoke venues, and the ability to travel across the localities.While not essential, it is desirable to have experience working with SexualHealth Services or other health settings such as GP surgery and to have experience of using the Electronic Patient Records.About the CompanyWe
