Due to retirement we are excited to be able to offer the great opportunity to lead the small, busy Highway Maintenance Administration Team based at Market Weighton Depot, Becklands Park Industrial Estate, York Road.
The successful candidate must be self-motivated, work well as part of a team, communicate effectively and provide excellent customer care. Good IT skills and attention to details are essential.
The team carry out the following duties:
1. Process payroll information for highway maintenance staff including liaising with supervisors/managers/payroll department.
2. Assess the urgency of all logged reports liaising with the relevant highway engineers over any urgent reports for example involving deep potholes, flooding or accidents.
3. Raise and issue orders to suppliers and processing their subsequent invoices.
4. Assess and respond to conveyancing searches from a highways perspective.
