Gleddoch, one of the most prestigious hotel, golf and spa resorts located in Renfrewshire is recruiting a full time Wedding & Events Co-Ordinator to join our exiting team. Gleddoch is a 75-bedroom hotel, golf course, luxurious spa with food and beverage outlets.
The Events Co-ordinator role is based within the hotel and will have responsibility for optimizing the use of event spaces at all times, whilst ensuring revenue is captured. Events Co-ordinator enhance the overall guest experience by effectively handling event bookings from the initial enquiry to the completion of the event.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· To Ensure that Guest expectations are met or exceeded.
· Promote the hotel & its services in a positive manner.
· To carry out showrounds for potential wedding or event bookings.
· Attending weekly meetings and appointments
· Preparing all paperwork including sales proposals, contracts, invoices and function sheets
· Responding to all enquires via telephone or email in relation to events, wedding and functions.
· Complete all necessary arrangements to ensure the smooth running of events including timings, equipment etc.
· Communicate detail of all event requirements to the business.
· Planning, organising and using a systematic approach to getting things done.
· Filing and any ad hoc duties as required e.g support events.
· Maintains security by following procedures; be aware of security protocol in case of emergency.
· Ensure continuously developing personal knowledge.
· Adhere to company guidelines on all staff policies such as Dress Code & Appearance etc.

SPECIFICATIONS
· An organised, self-motivated individual with an attention to detail
· Flexibility to work evenings and weekends in line with business requirements.
· Excellent organisational and motivational skills.
· Excellent relationship building and rapport building skills.
· Experience of wedding co-ordination would be advantageous but not essential.
