Residential Conveyancer (Solicitor/CILEx)

* Our client is seeking a skilled Conveyancing Solicitor or CILEx to join their Residential Conveyancing team. This role involves handling a variety of residential property transactions with a focus on delivering high-quality service. Our team is well-connected with local estate agents, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who excels in networking and business development.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Conduct fee-earning work including interviewing clients, taking instructions, and maintaining detailed file notes.
* Manage compliance documentation and analyse the source of funds evidence for Anti-Money Laundering (AML).
* Issue client care letters, draft or consider contract packages, and raise enquiries.
* Submit searches and draft title, mortgage, and search reports.
* Act on behalf of mortgage lenders, conduct exchanges of contracts, and complete matters on schedule.
* Advise clients on the progress of matters and costs.
* Participate in marketing activities to promote the firm and its services.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Qualified as a Solicitor or CILEx with experience in residential conveyancing.
* Strong ability to handle a range of property transactions including sales, purchases, transfers, and remortgages.
* Excellent networking and business development skills.
* Proficient in managing compliance and AML documentation.
* Capable of drafting various legal documents and conducting thorough legal analyses.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain detailed records.
