Summary This position serves as a member of the Environmental Services leadership team and, as a working leader, is responsible for supervising the daily operations of the departmental staff assuring that processes are being followed and that all areas of the hospital are maintained to established standards. Minimum Education Associate’s Degree in a related area or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum Work Experience 2-3 years of experience in a lead or leadership role 2 years of experience in a hospital/healthcare setting. Required Licenses/Certifications CHEST certified or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire. D.O.T. Hazardous Materials certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Demonstrated critical thinking and active listening skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people. Willingness and ability to respond to “off-shift” issues or project requirements. Demonstrated attention to detail. Demonstrated strong knowledge of basic computer skills. Willingness and ability to be available for weekend call on rotating basis. Salary Range: $45,000 - $71,000
