We are recruiting on behalf of a growing regional property company on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds, seeking a confident and highly organised Receptionist to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become the welcoming face of a busy office, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of front-of-house and general office operations. Key Responsibilities: * Welcome visitors, manage incoming calls, and handle post and deliveries * Set up and clear away refreshments for meetings * Organise occasional working lunches for departments * Maintain kitchen cleanliness and it’s facilities (including daily dishwasher duties) * Order stationery and kitchen and bathroom supplies * Maintain weekly fire evacuation lists * Liaise with cleaners, security, and suppliers to coordinate office maintenance or repairs * Monitor and restock first aid kits * Keep office signage up to date (Fire Wardens, First Aiders etc.) * Conduct weekly fire alarm tests and assist with fire drills * Provide general administrative support across departments * Process Purchase Orders upon departmental request Requirements: * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written * Confident using Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, etc.) * Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive attitude * Friendly, approachable, and highly organised Own transport required due to rural location, parking available. Hours: 39pw, Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 5pm (30 min lunch), Friday, 8.30am – 4.30pm (1 hour lunch) Job share considered. Salary: Competitive benefits
