Vehicle Service Technician required in Banbury.
1. Starting salary up to £29-33,000 per annum (negotiable pending experience) plus bonuses providing an on-target earnings around £30-36,000 per annum.
2. Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:30pm with 1 in 2 Saturdays 8:30am-4:00pm.
Our client, an automotive service centre/tyre retailer with multiple centres nationwide, is currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Service Technician to join their busy centre in Banbury.
Responsibilities for this Vehicle Technician Role:
3. carrying out mechanical servicing and repair on a variety of cars and light vans
4. Assisting with the servicing and repair of vehicles in compliance with company procedure and Health & Safety regulations
5. You will ensure the work is carried out to a high standard in line with our client's customer journey and to portray a professional image.
Requirements for this Vehicle Technician Role:
6. you will need to have a UK driving licence with minimal points
7. be qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair as a minimum
8. deally hold practical experience within another automotive workshop environment beyond your qualification
9. Overall, you will be a good team player with excellent communication skills, liaising with other team members to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of work through the workshop
