Opening in September 2026, The Horses will bring a fresh hospitality offering to Farringdon. What you'll be doing as an Assistant Bar Manager: Support the Bar Manager in overseeing daily bar operations across all four floors, ensuring smooth, efficient service while maintaining exceptional standards. Lead by example on the floor, supervising bartenders during service and helping to create a positive, high-performing team culture. Assist in delivering an exciting drinks offering and a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the guest experience and encourages repeat visits. Support stock management processes, including monitoring inventory levels, tracking usage, receiving deliveries, and assisting with ordering to minimise wastage. Coach, train, and develop bar team members, providing ongoing support to help improve performance and promote career progression within the business. Collaborate with the Bar Manager and wider management team to implement new initiatives, improve operational efficiency, and drive revenue growth. Ensure company policies, licensing regulations, health and safety procedures, and service standards are consistently followed. About you, our new Assistant Bar Manager: Proven experience as a Head Bartender or Assistant Bar Manager in a high-end high-volume venue. Advantageous if you have previous experience in fine dining or high end restaurants Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, manage and develop a diverse team. Positive and friendly attitude, with a willingness to work collaboratively with the team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure. A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a positive experience for guests.
