** WE ARE HIRING - SENIOR TRAVEL CONSULTANT – PART/FULL TIME**
A rare opportunity is now available for an outstanding Senior Travel Consultant (Part/Full Time), working approx. 3-4 days a week at Sutton Travel, to join our successful & established independent travel agency in Sutton Coldfield (north Birmingham).
We're looking for a professional and knowledgeable team-player, with a high level of travel agency experience (min. 5 years current/recent retail agency is essential), to work with the rest of the staff here specialising in overseas luxury holidays and tailor made itineraries, cruises, touring and more.

Responsibilities:
-Most of our enquires are genuine walk-in customers (with very few time wasters), or come via phone/email, and you will be expected to act efficiently and courteously, to convert daily leads to sales.
* Source, create and book travel itineraries, together with general travel agency admin tasks such as tickets, confirmations, balances, ancillaries, amendments, etc….
* Maintain relationships with existing customers, you will need to familiarise yourself with our large number of loyal customers and their requirements.
* Taking initiative to explore new leads, and assist with updating window offers, and posts via social media and our website.
The successful candidate will be:
* Cheerful, enthusiastic and a positive mindset.
* Have excellent people skills and the experience in with dealing with the public face-to-face, and via telephone/email.
* Quick thinking and have an ability to multi-task and remain calm and professional under pressure.- Motivated and enthusiastic, working alongside the owner/director, and team of 'all' Senior Travel Consultants
* Someone who wants to enjoy themselves at work each day with friendly colleagues, but WITHOUT the corporate structure of regular recorded performance reviews, KPI's, or the pressure of weekly/monthly sales targets.
Salary is very competitive for the role/region, and will be determined based upon experience.
Job Type: Part Time approx. 4 days per week ideal (but we would consider 3 days or 5 days) working 10am-5pm - pay is 7hrs per day, incl. most Saturday's. Additional work/earning opportunities are available, to cover other staff when on annual leave, if employed for 3 or 4 days per week.
Work hours are extremely friendly for those doing the 'school-run' or wish to avoid morning rush-hour (we start at 10am). Free parking offered to all staff. Air-conditioned shop with beautiful outlook, within 15-20 mins drive of Tamworth, Lichfield, Walsall, and most of the North Birmingham area.
