Overview
In this position, you will play a key role in the sale of our full range of building supplies products. A driving license is preferred for this role. Please note that this role will involve working alternate Saturdays.
Responsibilities
* Providing quotations for customers
* Dealing with customers both face to face and over the telephone
* Giving excellent customer service and sound product advice
* Taking a proactive approach to building product sales, using every opportunity to make or increase a sale
* Use a customer relationship management system (CRM) holding a portfolio of 50+ customers
* Generate new business with existing and new customers
* Upsell and perform gap analysis on existing customers
* Cold calling
* Lead qualifying
* Quote follow up
Qualifications
* Sound building supplies knowledge is required
* Previous sales experience in a builder's merchant environment is a necessity
* Confident dealing with customers
* The ability to build great customer relationships
* A good telephone manner, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Computer literate
* A driving license is preferred for this role
