Job Description:
Are you ready to kickstart your career, earn while you learn, and make a real difference in your community? Start your journey toward a rewarding career in IT with an apprenticeship qualification at Darlington College.
At Xentrall Shared Services, we’re offering more than an apprenticeship — we’re offering a launchpad for your future. Whether you're starting out or seeking a new direction, our apprenticeships help you thrive. Your tasks, skills, and ideas contribute to creating better services for our customers — Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council & Darlington Borough Council, and the communities they serve.

Based in Darlington Town Hall or Dunedin House, Thornaby, you will work as part of a team to deliver these services.
You will assist in providing effective, efficient, and customer-focused ICT services, working in our ICT End User Engagement Team dedicated to quality and efficiency from the outset.
Your responsibilities include maintaining ICT equipment, installing and configuring software and hardware, resolving faults, and upgrading or replacing equipment. You will also work in the ICT Service Desk Firstline Team, assisting customers with their requests and issues with a friendly, knowledgeable approach.
Skills and experience required:

* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Commitment to the full duration of the apprenticeship — reliability, motivation, and ability to balance work and study
* Willingness to learn and develop new skills — please outline how you meet this criteria in your personal statement
