Job Description
Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking Design and Analysis Engineers in Berkeley, MO or Richardson, TX to join the F-22 Raptor Mission Design and Analysis Team with a focus on developing cutting-edge engineering solutions for the world’s premier air superiority fighter.
As a Design and Analysis Engineer, you will develop engineering solutions for the F-22 Raptor, including enhancing existing systems and architecting new ones. You will work with a cross-functional team to develop requirements, design networked architectures, and create test plans and procedures.
Our teams are hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate and Experienced Design and Analysis Engineers.
Position Responsibilities:
* Work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, engaging with multiple teams and being responsive to agile requirements and critical customer deadlines
* Collaborate with Responsible Engineers, customer technical staff, suppliers, and Lockheed Martin teammates to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements for F-22 avionics sub-systems and weapon system architecture
* Analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs, and interface specifications for lab and operational environments
* Define verification procedures for critical tests to validate performance against requirements
* Review test data, including off-nominal data, for accuracy and quality prior to delivery to customer
This position is expected to be 100% on-site at one of the listed locations. The candidate must be able to obtain program access, requiring U.S. citizenship and an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (or recent active clearance within 24 months).
This role involves eligibility for the F-22 Special Access Program (SAP).
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
* Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
* (Level 2) 2+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
* (Level 3) 5+ years with a Bachelor’s, or 3+ years with a Master’s or PhD
* Experience in avionics, electrical, or mission systems roles
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
* Ability to travel 10% of the time
* Experience with agile development methodologies
Education/Experience Levels:
Associate (Level 2): Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of related experience or a master’s degree with less experience.
Experienced (Level 3): Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience, or a master’s/PhD with relevant experience.
Additional Information:
Boeing is a Drug-Free Workplace. The salary range is $79,900 - $116,150 for Level 2, and $96,050 - $139,150 for Level 3. Applications accepted until Apr. 30, 2025.
