Role Overview
Role: Maintenance Supervisor; hours: 40 hrs/week; location: Worthing, BN14 8PB. We’re looking for a Multi‑Skilled Operative who will lead a small maintenance team in the delivery of varying fabric repairs and projects, hosting of sub‑contractors. This role also includes the multi‑trade requirement for completing reactive helpdesk tickets and assisting in the completion of project‑related tasks and other facilities requests.
Responsibilities
* Delivery and oversight of repairs and maintenance to building fabric and plumbing infrastructure across multiple site buildings.
* Delivery and oversight of planned maintenance activities; organisation and on‑site hosting of subcontractors.
* Support the Tech Services Manager/helpdesk and Technical Services Coordinator with the allocation of planned and reactive work orders.
* Day‑to‑day management of relevant employees including conduct, performance, attendance and capability; taking the necessary and appropriate actions to address inappropriate behaviour or low standards.
Qualifications
* Qualified to a C&G or NVQ in a plumbing or mechanical trade.
* Previous experience working in other trades or in a similar role is desirable.
* Strong customer service experience.
* Experience of PDA and PC technology for reporting and completion of jobs is essential.
