Job Description
Responsibilities:
Evaluating fund investment opportunities and, deal execution, with responsibilities increasing over time. Our analysts work closely across our team on a variety of projects and assist in the due diligence process for new debt investments. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and running of the fund over the long term.
Responsibilities will include:
* Assisting the investment team in analysing new investment opportunities and deal origination. Leading the due diligence and execution of new transactions.
* Preparation of investment committee memoranda.
* Responsibility for the management and monitoring of the portfolio.
* Supporting research programmes around market developments and technology trends.
* Tracking new investment opportunities on our CRM system and preparing periodic deal flow reports.
* Supporting the portfolio team on ad hoc requests for existing investments.
Requirements:
· Candidates must have an excellent academic record and a minimum of a 2.1 Honours Degree from a reputable University.
· A post-graduate qualification (CFA, ACA) is a plus.
· Strong financial modelling skills together with a high degree of proficiency in using MS Excel.
· Experience in one of the following: Big 4 Accountancy Firm (with at least 1 year of Deals/Transactions exposure); A reputable Bank’s Debt Finance function; Private Equity/Venture Capital or Private Credit is preferred.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills given the close interaction candidates shall have with senior executives.
· Excellent report writing skills.
· Fluent in English; fluency in other European languages a major plus.
· Self-starter with a hard working attitude that can work independently in a small team.
· Candidate must be able to demonstrate a clear interest in the wider investment and technology industries.
