Receptionist – 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract Location: MoD Boscombe Down, Amesbury, Wiltshire Hours: Full Time Employer: QinetiQ Role ID: 19504 About the Role: We are looking for a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team at Boscombe Down on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and contractors, helping ensure an excellent customer experience and supporting site security processes. Main Duties: Greeting visitors and booking them onto site Managing calls, emails, and reception enquiries Supporting contractor and visitor access in line with security requirements Producing visitor and contractor passes Maintaining accurate records and following standard procedures Providing administration support to the wider site operations team Assisting with events and general office tasks Skills & Experience: Essential: Experience in a reception, customer service, or contractor control role Good administrative skills (NVQ Level 3 equivalent experience) Strong communication and teamwork skills Good Microsoft Office knowledge Attention to detail and willingness to learn Desirable: NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or Customer Service Why Work for QinetiQ?
