We are looking for our next Head of FP&A who reports to the Group Chief Financial Officer and has overall strategic responsibility for all financial performance, reporting and analysis across Severn Trent. This role supports board and executive decisions, provides finance business partnering to key business units and partners with executive members and leadership teams.
Key responsibilities
* Set the vision of a highly effective FP&A function and lead its delivery across the executive and senior leaders.
* Drive long‑range forecasting, strategic planning and multi‑year budgeting, combining analytical depth with commercial acumen.
* Act as the CFO’s ‘go‑to’ on all financial decisions, including investment decisions and growth opportunities.
* Partner with business units and executive members to influence decisions that shape the future of the business.
What we’re looking for
* Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA, senior finance professional with experience leading large finance teams in a complex, commercially competitive environment.
* Proven ability to navigate complexity and understand regulatory frameworks in a sector‑intensive business.
* Confident at the highest level, engaging directly with the CFO, Executive Committee and Board.
* Ideal FP&A experience with a track record in long‑range forecasting, strategic planning and multi‑year budgeting within asset‑intensive businesses.
