Your Role
The Offshore Wind Engineering Consultant is key within our Energy business, focusing on offshore wind projects. The role involves engaging at all levels, developing and delivering project pipelines, and acting as an ambassador for our offshore wind team. You should have a good understanding of offshore wind technology, strong leadership skills, and project management experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage offshore wind consultancy projects from start to finish.
* Develop and maintain client relationships.
* Supervise and mentor a team of consultants and engineers.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities within offshore wind.
* Maintain technical industry knowledge and address project development challenges.
* Collaborate across engineering, project management, and environmental teams, managing resources and budgets effectively.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience in the renewable energy sector, especially offshore wind projects.
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
* Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
* Professional certifications relevant to the industry.
* Excellent stakeholder relationship skills and an established network in offshore wind.
* People management experience, including coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
* Experience in budget management and reporting.
* Willingness to travel, including potential international travel.
