Position and Reward for Successful Candidate
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at Eastridge Manor, a specialist dementia nursing home in Bolney, near Haywards Heath.
Reporting to the Home Manager, this role involves working with an experienced clinical team to perform planned, proactive, and reactive clinical duties. Our team is dedicated to providing professional, respectful, and high-quality care within a safe environment.
This is a hands-on role requiring relevant qualifications and experience, with a strong commitment to providing first-class service to our residents.
Week 2 - Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Job Responsibilities
* Maintain high standards of patient care, ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of all residents.
* Champion patient choice and autonomy, ensuring staff work respectfully and with dignity.
* Support and assist in managing the care team during shifts, collaborating to ensure excellent resident care and communication.
* Promote good morale among staff and strive for effective teamwork and support for team development.
* Build relationships with families, advocates, and next of kin, keeping them informed of residents’ well-being.
* Complete all documentation accurately and promptly, including individualized care plans that are reviewed and updated as needed.
* Possess a Nursing degree or higher qualification.
* Prioritize tasks effectively to achieve optimal outcomes.
* Demonstrate good verbal and non-verbal reporting skills.
* Have previous clinical experience in geriatric, frailty, end-of-life, and dementia care.
Candidate Profile
* Hands-on approach with a proactive attitude.
* Ability to think quickly and work under pressure.
* Excellent communication skills, confident in interacting with staff, residents, and professionals.
* Some IT skills, such as Excel, Word, and MS Office, with attention to detail.

* Pay £26.00 per hour on weekdays and £27.30 on weekends.
