Job Description
Customer Supply Chain Executive
Location: Field Based UK
Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Supply Chain Executive to join our team in the UK. This role involves managing and optimizing our supply chain processes to ensure high service levels and efficiency. The role supports collaboration between Muller Milk and Ingredients (MMI) & M&S on supply chain matters, fostering strong customer and internal relationships to manage interactions across the entire E2E supply chain for MMI dairy products, aligned with Joint Business Plans and Strategic Objectives.
Main Responsibilities
1. Support supply chain collaboration with M&S on related matters.
2. Serve as a key liaison between our customer and internal teams, facilitating effective communication.
3. Attend M&S head office and MMI supply sites regularly to support role responsibilities.
4. Coordinate and conduct service reviews with the customer and internal units to evaluate supply chain performance.
5. Monitor and report on service KPIs and support initiatives to improve product availability.
6. Manage projects related to collaboration and communicate changes or events (e.g., peak periods, bank holidays).
7. Support performance metrics by analyzing data to enhance performance, including waste and availability.
8. Contribute to value chain initiatives aimed at increasing inbound efficiency across the MMI & M&S supply chain.
9. Assist with internal audit activities related to the supply chain, including on-site support for planning and actions.
Key Requirements
1. Experience in supply chain management.
2. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
3. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
4. Knowledge of SAP / AS400 / COGNOS is desirable but not essential.
5. Ability to work under pressure.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Proactive team player with a sense of ownership.
8. Understanding of procedures within the discipline.
9. Knowledge of warehouse management systems is desirable.
10. Basic leadership skills for team management.
