Fire & Security Engineer Somerset

We are seeking an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join our team, covering the Somerset area. This is a permanent, full-time role offering stability, excellent benefits, and opportunities for professional growth.
The Role
As a Fire & Security Engineer, you will:
* Carry out scheduled planned maintenance across a monthly rota (organised by our office team).
* Respond to reactive service calls and provide on-call support when required.
* Ensure all systems are serviced and maintained in line with British Standards and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
You should have strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with:
* Addressable & Conventional Fire Alarm Systems
* Remote Signalling Systems (Redcare & Dualcom)
* Emergency Lighting Systems
* CCTV & Intruder Alarm Systems
* Access Control Systems
* Relevant British Standards
Requirements
* Proven background in fire & security system maintenance and servicing (particularly fire alarms).
* Ability to pass full security vetting (NPPV2).
* Full UK driving licence (essential).
* Strong fault-finding, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
Hours
* Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (typically 7:30am4:30pm).
* Additional opportunities for on-call overtime.
