This contractor’s portfolio includes healthcare,munity, leisure & tourism, education andmercial buildings. Over thispany's lifespan, they have developed an enviable reputation and, due to ongoing works, they are now looking for a Site Engineer to join them on an initial temporary contract.
Your new role
Your new role will be as a site engineer on a £30m+ healthcare project based in Co. Fermanagh. You will be responsible for all aspects of engineering duties including setting out, managerial responsibilities, quality control, supervising subcontractors, HSEQ, progress reporting, measuring / ordering materials, managing labour and reporting to the site manager. You will be essential in the successfulpletion of this project, and you will work alongside the site manager to achieve project success.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous site engineering experience and a qualification in a construction related field will be essential for this role. Experience within the build sector and previous healthcare,mercial or education projects will be highly desirable. You will ideally have a minimum of 2 years' site-based experience as a site engineer.Technical knowledge of setting out duties as well as interpreting architectural drawings and then practically applying these drawings to the day-to-day operations on site will be required. Attention to detail will help you to ensure the project ispleted to an excellent standard. Proficient time management and organisational skills will help you day to day. You must have a valid CSR / CSCS / SMSTS card in order to be considered.
