Role: Senior Engineer
Location: Appleby-in-Westmorland, Cumbria
Day rate: £400 - £450/day
Our client is currently looking for a Senior Engineer with earthworks, EA or Flood Defence experience to get started immediately in the Cumbria area on a major new project.
Role:
* Managing the engineering of earthworks, environmental and flood defence schemes
* Reviewing RAMS, ITPs, producing as builts
* Checking the setting out and surveying of site engineers
* Preparing and maintaining QA documentation
* Liasing with the senior management team
* Liasing with the external design team
* Managing subcontractors; checking and maintaining QA and HSE standards
Requirements:
* At least 5 years experience within civil engineering, preferably in the environmental agency or flood defence sectors
* CSCS
* HNC/ HND in Civil Engineering minimum
