Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Felixstowe for a Commercial Assistant. The role will be responsible for identifying and generating leads, managing client relationships, and executing sales strategies to expand the customer base. Day-to-day tasks include engaging with prospective clients through effective communication, providing excellent customer service, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure operational excellence. The role involves meeting sales targets, maintaining accurate records of sales activities, assisting the Commercial Manager with additional tasks and representing the company professionally to clients and partners.
Qualifications
* Experience in Inside Sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
* Strong skills in Lead Generation and prospecting for new business opportunities
* Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with clients and partners
* Proficiency in providing exceptional Customer Service to develop and maintain strong client relationships
* Strong understanding of Sales techniques and the ability to craft successful sales strategies
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
* Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales tracking tools is advantageous
* Prior experience in the logistics or freight forwarding industry is preferred
