CARTERS is one of New Zealand's leading building industry partners in a unique position of growth. Our Technical Support Detailing team, based at National Support Office in East Tamaki is expanding, driven by demand across our nine Frame & Truss Manufacturing plants.
Reporting to the Detailing Schedule & Variations Manager, you will be a central part of the Detailing and Estimating Team responsible for providing technical support relating to Estimate Variations.
This role is ideally suited to an experienced Quantity Surveyor with building industry experience and an understanding of the construction process. Your technical aptitude combined with your estimating and NZ building standards know-how will see you:
1. Act as the Carters point of contact for customer communications relating to estimate variations
2. Provide feedback to estimators and detailers on variations
3. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with key internal stakeholders
4. Partner with and develop relationships with our Customers
5. Read building plans, understand your Customer's build through problem solving and partnering with customers to provide solutions
