Working in a hybrid style at home and at Honeygreen Supported Accommodation Unit/East District Office, you will work full time, 37 hours per week, on a temporary basis until September 2026.

Requirements
You will have an HNC/Level 3 in Housing or a relevant subject and a qualification meeting SSSC registration requirements for Housing Support Workers.
Responsibilities
You will provide support to residents at our Honeygreen Unit who, in the defined groups, have been identified as vulnerable. This support will help individuals manage their accommodation successfully and assist them in moving into permanent accommodation. Support may also be provided to prospective tenants to help them gain access to suitable accommodation, reduce the risk of eviction, anti-social behaviour, debt, and other threats to their security of tenure. These tenants may be receiving voluntary support or may be conditional and related to a Short Scottish Secure Tenancy.
The Individual
You will have experience in housing and/or support service provision, a social care background, or experience of multi-agency working. You will be able to work with minimal supervision.
You should demonstrate empathy for those requiring advice and support, possess good organisational and people skills, and be a team player. Possible weekend and evening work may be required.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
