We are looking for a Project Lead / Health Coach to join our team in Bradford.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of our two new Targeted Weight Management Services commissioned by Bradford Metropolitan District Council, one dedicated to the South Asian communities of Bradford and the other dedicated to Men in the area.
You will work directly with the South Asian and Male population to support and encourage healthy eating and movement habits, oversee volunteers and liaise with our delivery partners Bradford Bulls Foundation and Abilities Together as well as existing services across Bradford.
Ensuring data is collected, input to the UpShot monitoring tool, your role will be crucial to monitoring the numbers of people coming into service and the quality of our delivery

Job Title: Project Lead / Health Coach
This role reports to the Head of Operations and will involve regular updates and collaboration to align with organizational goals.
Job Purpose:
To ensure the Bradford South Asian and Men's Targeted Weight Management programmes are successfully delivered, in line with our Vision for each, to promote long-term behaviour change of healthy eating and movement habits, through community development and direct and indirect delivery of health lifestyle information.
Programme Delivery
* Ensure the successful delivery of targeted weight management programmes.
* Deliver healthy lifestyle sessions across the Bradford area, focusing on nutrition and movement habits.
* Engage in one-on-one diet and activity education sessions for South Asian individuals with learning disabilities or mental health challenges.
* Support delivery of group sessions for South Asian participants as needed.
* Work with men through a novel direct chat function to support dietary and activity habit changes.
Volunteer Oversight
* Oversee and manage the timetable of volunteer delivery.
* Support volunteers in delivering services to the South Asian population.
* Work with delivery partners, such as Abilities Together, to recruit and train volunteers.
Stakeholder Engagement
* Liaise with Bradford organizations delivering similar and complementary services, including Living Well and activity providers, to promote targeted weight management services.
* Plan and run quarterly stakeholder engagement sessions.
* Collaborate with delivery partner organizations, including Bradford Bulls Foundation, to ensure programme targets are met.
Monitoring and Reporting
* Ensure all data is collected and uploaded to the Upshot monitoring software.
* Prepare reports from Upshot to demonstrate service participation and engagement levels.
* Attend monthly performance and monitoring meetings with the Primary Care Dietitians Leadership Team to review project delivery.
Safeguarding and Peer Support
* Oversee peer support chat groups to ensure content complies with defined rules, with a strong focus on safeguarding.
* Work with the Primary Care Dietitians Leadership and wider team to produce engaging content for the website and WhatsApp channels.
Patient Support and Education
* Apply expert knowledge of diet and nutrition to support patients with evidence-based dietary approaches.
* Utilise behavioural change and motivational techniques to guide and support patients throughout their program journey.
* Collaborate with team members to create engaging educational content and materials for participants.
General Responsibilities
* Complete relevant training courses and stay updated on program processes.
* Comply with Health & Safety Regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Qualification in Nutrition, Physical Activity Coaching and / or Health Coaching is essential.
* Experience of leading a project is desirable.
* Experience in delivering health coaching or nutrition is desirable.
* Previous experience working with those living with learning disabilities and / or mental health problems is desirable.
* Fluency in one or more of the following languages as well as English is highly desirable: Urdu, Punjabi, Bengali.
* Proficiency in computer packages (Microsoft Office) is essential.
* Ability to write reports, including data and charts, in English is desirable

* In-person sessions, including travel within Bradford.
