About the Role: Everest is seeking a seasoned Vice President, Head of Delivery to join its Information Technology organization in London, United Kingdom. This strategic leadership role is responsible for driving end-to-end technology delivery across a complex enterprise value stream, with a strong emphasis on Agile execution, engineering excellence, and scalable delivery frameworks. Role Overview The Vice President, International Delivery Lead will oversee cross-functional technology teams to deliver business-critical platforms and services, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, product strategy, and operational goals. This role demands deep expertise in Agile delivery models, technical program management, and stakeholder engagement across a matrixed organization. Key Responsibilities Value Stream Leadership & Agile Delivery: Lead multiple Agile Release Trains and Scrum Teams, guiding engineering leads, Scrum Masters, analysts, and QA engineers. Champion DevOps maturity, CI/CD adoption, and engineering best practices. Technology Strategy & Roadmap: Collaborate with Product and Architecture to define and execute a scalable five-year technology roadmap, ensuring timely platform decisions that support delivery velocity. Delivery Governance & Financial Oversight: Own the full delivery lifecycle across run, change, and transformation initiatives. Manage multi-year budgets and ensure alignment with enterprise portfolio standards. Agile Program Execution: Drive quarterly PI Planning, backlog prioritization, and iterative delivery. Maintain delivery cadence and track velocity, throughput, and value realization. Risk & Dependency Management: Establish mechanisms to manage cross-team dependencies and risks. Ensure transparency, resolve blockers, and uphold delivery commitments. Team Enablement & Coaching: Foster a high-performing, inclusive culture. Coach teams on Agile, Lean, and SAFe practices, and support growth through feedback, conflict resolution, and performance development. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred) 15 years of experience leading global technology delivery programs 10 years of Agile delivery experience, including SAFe or similar scaled frameworks 5 years in a senior leadership role with direct accountability for delivery outcomes Technical & Domain Expertise Proven experience delivering enterprise platforms in the insurance domain, including: Policy administration, claims, billing systems Guidewire platform knowledge is a strong plus Deep understanding of Agile program delivery phases: Pre-PI Planning, PI Planning, Discovery, Elaboration, System Demos, Inspect & Adapt Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across business and technology functions Scaled Agile Certification is advantageous What if I don’t meet every requirement?
