Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a creative and passionate Art Teacher to join a high-achieving secondary school in the Kettering area. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and motivate students through engaging and imaginative art lessons.
About the Role
As the Art Teacher, you will:
1. Deliver high-quality Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable).
2. Plan and prepare engaging lessons that encourage creativity and artistic expression.
3. Assess, monitor, and track student progress, ensuring all learners are supported to achieve their full potential.
4. Contribute to the wider creative life of the school, including exhibitions and enrichment activities.
5. Work collaboratively with the Art Department to share ideas and maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
Requirements
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
7. Experience teaching Art at secondary level (KS3 & KS4 essential, KS5 desirable).
8. A strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for the visual arts.
9. Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
10. A positive, flexible, and student-focused approach.
