Academic Liaison & Collection Development Manager
Salary
£53,949 to £62,160 per annum, inclusive with potential to progress to £69,073 per annum inclusive of London allowance.
Overview
Within the Collections and Academic Services Group, the Academic Liaison & Collection Development (ALCD) Team (currently 6.4 FTE) leads on the Library’s liaison activities and develops our teaching, learning and research collections.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate liaison with academic departments across the Library.
* Develop and promote library services in collaboration with colleagues, students, and the academic community.
* Develop and maintain the Library’s Collection Development Policy to support the School’s information resources needs.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience working in an academic library and in liaison work with academic departments.
* Experience building library collections, selecting material, and developing in‑depth knowledge of research collections.
* Degree‑level education or equivalent and a qualification in librarianship or information science.
