We’re seeking an Aerospace Plater to deliver precision finishes to aerospace components. The successful candidate will carry out electroplating to set specifications, using software-controlled rectifiers and plating baths. Strong accuracy, numeracy and attention to detail are essential to ensure high-quality finishes that meet both customer and industry standards
In the Aerospace Plater role, you will be:
1. Operating plating equipment and following work instructions
2. Monitoring baths, rectifiers and process settings
3. Recording data and reporting any issues promptly
4. Ensuring quality standards and safe working practices
5. Supporting bath maintenance and keeping the work area organised

This is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate upon successful completion of the training period. The role involves working Monday to Friday, from 14:00 to 22:00. The initial rate of pay is £12.21 per hour + holiday pay. After a 3-month training/probation period, a shift premium will be applied, increasing the hourly rate to £14.65 per hour.
