Overview
Store assistant - 16 hours per week – weekends mostly. Candidates should live locally and be able to commute to the store. Our stores are open from 7 AM to 8 PM, so you must be able to manage early starts and late finishes. This is a role at Toolstation focused on growth and development as part of a fast-paced, employee-focused retailer working to make customers happy.
This is more than just a store job. You will be the friendly face of Toolstation, helping customers find what they need, and you’ll also be hands-on with deliveries, warehouse tasks, and stocking shelves. Be prepared to roll up your sleeves; it can get hot in summer and chilly in winter, but delivering great customer service is key. No retail experience? No problem — we’ll teach you everything else.
Responsibilities
* Help customers find what they need and provide outstanding service.
* Handle deliveries and unpack stock.
* Keep the store clean and stocked, and prepare customer orders.
* Be proactive in selling the benefits of Toolstation Club and Trade Accounts, and sign customers up where appropriate.
* Be ready to work in a fast-paced environment with high customer demand.
