The Role: Teach a class with a higher-than-average level of behavioural and emotional needs. Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with a range of learning abilities and social challenges. Develop strong, trusting relationships with pupils who may have experienced adverse life circumstances. Work closely with the school’s ALNCo, wellbeing lead, and external professionals to create a structured, nurturing classroom. Implement consistent routines and strategies to support emotional regulation, learning, and inclusion. The Ideal Candidate Will: Be an experienced and confident primary teacher (NQTs considered with strong placement references). Be skilled in managing behaviour with positivity, empathy, and clear boundaries. Have experience working with pupils with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs. Be passionate about inclusion, resilience, and restorative approaches to learning. Be able to stay calm under pressure and lead with consistency and care.
