Store Manager - Harlow

Base Pay Range
Salary: £32,000 – £34,000 per annum plus a generous benefits package. Additional benefits include an annual bonus (based on personal and business performance) and 36 days of holiday (including bank holidays, rising with service).
Responsibilities
* Empower your team to deliver excellent service, personally promoting the Co‑op difference to customers and members.
* Build an inclusive culture where everyone can speak up and share their views.
* Develop your team through regular performance conversations to help them reach their potential.
* Ensure the store is safe, legal, and operational.
* Manage and optimise commercial performance, recruit new team members, and handle HR processes.
Qualifications
* Experience guiding and developing a team in a busy, service‑focused environment.
* Strong communication skills, able to coach, motivate, and inspire.
* Resilience and great problem‑solving skills.
* Ability to understand and analyse commercial information.
* Willingness to roll up your sleeves and support the team in delivering store activities.
