Overview
Level 5 Learning Support Assistant (Part-Time, Term-Time Only) – An inclusive and supportive educational setting in Stoke-On-Trent is seeking a Level 5 Learning Support Assistant to join their team on a part-time, long-term basis. This is a rewarding opportunity to support a wide age range of pupils, from Reception to Key Stage 4, many of whom have additional learning needs.
Responsibilities
* Provide targeted support to pupils across a range of ages and abilities, adapting approaches to meet individual needs.
* Assist in the delivery of personalised learning plans, supporting academic, social, and emotional development.
* Work alongside teachers and other support staff to promote an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
* Support pupils with a range of needs, including SEND, ensuring consistent care and encouragement.
* Contribute to assessments, progress reviews, and classroom organisation as required.
Requirements
* Level 5 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent).
* Experience working across primary and/or secondary age groups.
* Confidence in adapting support for different key stages and learning needs.
* Strong communication skills and a proactive, flexible approach.
* A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
