Our Client in the Finance Industry is looking for a Project Management Specialist for a remote, full-time opportunity with the Bank of Canada. The consultant will support the Supervision Portfolio team in delivering project management expertise across a variety of initiatives, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
* Provide full-cycle project management for strategic initiatives using Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.
* Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project planning, execution, and delivery.
* Track project progress, risks, and issues using modern project management tools and maintain effective reporting practices.
* Develop and maintain documentation, executive briefings, decision records, and change management updates.
* Oversee medium-to-large sized projects and act as a central point of contact for internal teams and subject matter experts.
* Prepare charts, dashboards, and visuals for status reporting and decision-making.
* Maintain strong stakeholder engagement and communication across all levels.
Requirements:
* Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Project Management, Business Analysis, or related field.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience managing medium-to-large scale projects.
* Proven ability to deliver using Agile or hybrid (Agile/Waterfall) methodologies.
* Experience managing multiple initiatives concurrently.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for all levels of stakeholders.
