Ready to join the crew? Step into your next role and tell us why you should be our new Field Sales Merchandiser – Manchester Area. Our ideal candidate will be living in the boroughs north of Manchester city centre with easy commute access to Liverpool & Leeds (via the M62).
The job: As a Field Sales Merchandiser, you will work alongside a superb team, across a fantastic range of RTD Iced Coffee products through key retail channels, both national retailers and local independent outlets. It’s a change to be part of a small growing business, with aspirations to become the bestselling RTD Iced Coffee in the UK and beyond. Reporting to the Field Sales Manager, you will dominate your geographical area, owning and delivering against KPIs, driving topline sales, building strong relationships with store managers whilst being the face of Jimmy’s Iced Coffee. You’ll use an entrepreneurial mindset and natural competitiveness to negotiate sales as well as brand display including fixture presence and SKU listings in store. This is a full-time, field-based position spanning Central Manchester & the stretch of the M62 from Liverpool to Leeds. You will be on the road daily visiting stores across your patch. There will be occasions where you will need to visit our very cool office in Christchurch, Dorset to attend meetings, training etc. This role may also include merchandising for other Britvic brands including Plenish, London Essence & Aqua Libra.
Responsibilities
* Own and deliver against KPIs in your geographical area.
* Drive topline sales and build strong relationships with store managers.
* Act as the face of Jimmy’s Iced Coffee in the field and negotiate sales as well as brand display in-store.
* Manage fixture presence and SKU listings in stores.
* Visit stores across Central Manchester and the M62 corridor (Liverpool to Leeds) on a daily basis.
* Participate in occasional office-based meetings and training as required.
Qualifications
* Experience in a similar field sales or retail compliance role, ideally within FMCG.
* Proactive and motivated, able to work independently day to day.
* Solid relationship building and negotiation skills to secure prime store locations.
* Experience analysing data and identifying trends and targets.
* Educated to minimum A-Level standard.
* Hold a full/clean UK driving licence and confident driving in the city centre.
