Walton on Trent CofE Primary School is a thriving school at the heart of the local community, values driven with a focus on providing an environment that prepares pupils to be confident and happy citizens. JTMAT is starting its search for the next leader of this caring and inclusive school.
Responsibilities
* Lead school improvement with solid track record and expertise across all Key Stages; implement strategies to improve teaching and learning.
* Set the strategic direction of the school in partnership with the Trust; develop plans for improvements and developments.
* Engage with staff, pupils, Governors and the wider school community to deliver high standards of education.
* Build and lead a high performing team, providing leadership, guidance and direction; motivate and challenge where necessary.
* Forge and nurture partnerships to benefit the school and its learners.
What we offer
Permanent, full-time role with a leadership salary scale: Leadership L11 – L17 (£66,368 to £76,772 per annum).
Qualifications and experience
* Solid track record of delivering school improvement.
* Experience across all Key Stages and in applying strategies to enhance teaching and learning.
* Ability to work closely with the Trust to set strategic direction, develop improvement plans, and engage with staff, pupils, Governors and the wider community.
* Ability to build a high performing team and to establish strong partnerships for the benefit of the school.
