Right at Home Mid Sussex provides high-quality, person-centred home care and companionship to adults and older people across Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, and nearby villages (including Ditchling, Lindfield, Cuckfield, Hassocks, Hurstpierpoint, and more).
We help our clients live independently in their own homes with dignity, respect, and happiness. Our care visits are never rushed — we believe in quality time and building genuine relationships.
The Role: Senior Support Worker
As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll play a key role in supporting both our clients and our CareGivers. You’ll ensure that care is delivered to the highest standard while mentoring and guiding our team to succeed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising and supporting Care Assistants to deliver high-quality care
- Conducting spot checks and field visits to monitor service delivery
- Creating and reviewing individualised care plans
- Providing hands-on support when required
- Delivering training, shadowing and ongoing coaching for CareGivers
- Building strong relationships with clients, families, and colleagues
Working with the Care Manager to ensure compliance and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Female, resident in the local area (RH15, RH16, RH17, or BN6)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in home care, domiciliary care, or residential care
- Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care, or willingness to work towards it
- Confident communicator with great leadership and people skills
- Flexible to work a regular shift pattern, including weekends and on-call
