Sitzler is seeking a Site Engineer to be directly involved in the day‑to‑day delivery of construction projects on site. You will support site coordination, manage subcontractors and contribute to ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. This is a permanent, full‑time position is based on‑site in Edinburgh, Adelaide.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and support the day‑to‑day delivery of construction works on site, ensuring activities are planned and executed efficiently
* Assist with site set‑out, survey control and verification of works in accordance with drawings and specifications
* Review construction drawings and documentation, identify technical issues and support resolution of site queries
* Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to ensure works are delivered safely, to quality standards and in line with project requirements
* Monitor construction progress, sequencing and interfaces between trades to support smooth site operations
* Assist with material take‑offs, procurement and coordination of deliveries to site
* Inspect completed works to ensure compliance with quality, safety and project standards
* Maintain accurate site records, documentation, reports and as‑built information
* Actively promote and uphold safety, quality and environmental systems across the site
Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications
Minimum level of knowledge/skills/training required to carry out the job:
* Degree qualification in Engineering or a related discipline.
* Ability to gain a Defence Common Access Card (DCAC)
* White Card (Nationally Recognised Construction Induction)
* Current Driver’s Licence
Work Experience
Considered necessary to do the job effectively:
* Minimum 2 years’ post graduate experience in estimating, project administration or project delivery roles
* Experience with project planning, coordination and basic programming
* Sound knowledge of construction materials, methods and site practices
* Strong organisational, planning and time‑management skills
