Groundworks Gang Required - Somerset (Framework Works)
MadiganGill are looking to recruit a 3-man groundworks gang to join an existing team.
Start Date: W/C 09 February (or sooner)
Duration: Initially 6 weeks, with potential for ongoing work
First Site: Dunster (near Minehead)
This is a framework contract, with further works likely across Somerset, including Taunton, Yeovil, Shepton Mallet and surrounding areas for the right crew.
Rate: £20.00 - £25.00 per hour, depending on tickets and experience
Gang Composition Required:
* Machine Operator
* Dumper Driver
* Labourer
Operatives must be willing to work out of the machine as required.
Requirements:
* Valid CSCS cards
* Relevant tickets
* Driving licence
* Proven experience in groundworks / highways
* Reliable and flexible
* Ability to get to site independently
Typical Works Include:
* Local Authority highway works
* Traffic signal renewals (including civils)
* Traffic signal ducting
* NAL sockets
* Drainage (pipes, gullies, catch pits)
* Tactile paving
* Kerbing
* Working around live services
Working Hours:
* On site for approximately 7:30am (start around 8:00am)
* Some night work required
* Start times mildly flexible
