Senior Business Development Manager

Software Sales - Logistics

Up to £90,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus

Remote with UK Travel

Are you an experienced Business Development Manager with experience in selling Logistics Software Sales? Our client is a global Logistics and Supply Chain Software Solution provider.

This role involves developing and converting sales pipelines and being accountable for individual sales reporting. The Senior Business Development Manager will support sales initiatives and collaborate across the business to convert significant opportunities with corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities:

* Leadership
o Sales Growth: Develop a new business sales pipeline aligned with sales KPIs for growth, with accurate reporting and forecasting.
o Strategic projects/bids: Coordinate strategic bid responses.
o Key/global accounts: Maximise opportunities in upselling and cross-selling with key clients. Lead sales efforts for customers with significant potential.
o Culture Building: Promote a motivated sales culture focused on success, inclusivity, and growth.

Client Relationship Management

* Client-centricity: Build strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
* Source and Selection: Generate sales-qualified leads from activity and network to meet KPIs.

Business Partnership

* Communication: Collaborate with Sales Director, Marketing Directors, and Sales Analysts to align strategies.
* Deal Focused: Identify and support new business opportunities to generate revenue.
* Sales Pipeline Management: Manage your sales pipeline with accurate reporting and forecasting.
* Lead Generation: Work with marketing to drive lead generation.
* Data-driven: Develop and monitor KPIs, using data insights for strategy and operational improvements.

Experience

* Previous experience as a Business Development Manager.
* Experience in Logistics and Supply Chain Software Sales.
