Vets for Pets Evesham - Senior Vet — Lead Clinician

*Full time · Evesham, Worcestershire · 5–8+ years post-graduation experience*

**ABOUT US**

Vets for Pets Evesham is an exciting practice at a pivotal moment in its growth. Owned and run by the same team behind the award-winning Vets for Pets Worcester — named Practice of the Year in the Vets for Pets group (2017) and Best Vets in Worcestershire (2024, 2025) — we've expanded our facilities and are investing hard in our equipment and our people.

Evesham is on a similar trajectory. If you bring a winning outlook, this is your chance to help us win some awards of our own.

We like to think of Evesham as Worcester's ambitious sibling practice: a smaller, tighter team right now, with the same ambition and every intention of matching our sibling's success.

Our ethos is to help every client get the very best care for their pet, within the reality of their individual circumstances and budget. That takes skill, empathy, and great clinical leadership — and that's what we're looking for in you.

**LIFE AT EVESHAM**

We're a close-knit team of 12, and that closeness is something we value. As part of the wider Vets for Pets Worcester family, our team also has full access to the shared social scene — book club, movie club, craft club, and more — across a combined group of over 40 people. The intimacy of a small practice, with the energy of a larger community.

*We offer a choice of 8-hour or 10-hour shifts — you pick the pattern that suits you — with paid overtime. We're open Monday to Saturday, and all roles involve 1 in 3 Saturdays, meaning you'll always have your Sundays free.*

**THE ROLE**

This is a senior clinical leadership role at a practice with genuine momentum. You'll be the lead vet on the ground day to day — responsible for the clinical direction of the practice, mentoring and developing the team of three vets on site, and playing a central role in shaping how Evesham grows.

The practice owner will provide full strategic support, and you'll report directly to him while leading the clinical team on site. This role offers real day-to-day clinical leadership while remaining part of a wider owner-led practice structure.

You'll see a broad and interesting caseload, help define the culture of the team, and have the satisfaction of knowing your contribution is directly driving the success of the practice. If you have the experience and ambition to lead, and you want a role where what you do genuinely matters, this is it.

**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**

A confident, experienced vet with at least 5–8 years of post-graduation experience and a genuine enthusiasm for mentoring and developing others. You'll be clinically strong, calm under pressure, and a natural communicator — with both your team and your clients. Leadership experience is ideal, but what matters most is the right mindset: someone who leads by example, invests in the people around them, and shares our belief that an outstanding team delivers outstanding veterinary care.

We actively support certificates and further qualifications — for you and for the team you lead. Ambition and continuous development aren't just welcomed here; they're part of how we work.

**WHAT WE OFFER**

1. Competitive salary, dependent on experience
2. Pension
3. Choice of 8-hour or 10-hour shifts
4. Paid overtime
5. Sundays always free
6. RCVS fees paid
7. Generous CPD allowance
8. Certificate support and encouragement

10. Corporate savings and discount scheme

12. Vets for Pets group benefits
13. Senior leadership role with real autonomy in day-to-day clinical leadership

Even if your skills and experience don’t perfectly align, if you think you can make a unique contribution through your values and behaviours, we want to hear from you!
